Raion lives on WhatsApp.

There is no app, no website and no login. People in the office simply message Raion, send it a voice note or call it on WhatsApp. This page only shows what it does, using real chats.

In use at Maa Narmada Group of Institutes, DhamnodBuilt on Sarvam AI
1What it is

An AI that runs a college office.

Raion does the everyday office work of four institutes in small-town Madhya Pradesh. You ask in one sentence; it does the work and sends back the result.

Talk the way you talk

Hindi, English or both. By text, voice note or a phone call.

It does the work

Letters, reminders, data from people, messages to parents, accounts and dashboards.

In use today

A degree college, a B.Ed college, a school and an ITI in Dhamnod, MP.

2Real chats

Five real requests, one at a time.

Each was asked by voice note on 3 November 2026. Pick one to see what was said, what Raion did and what came back.

The real chat: a voice note asks for a class 10 PTM notice; Raion sends it on the school's letterhead in Hindi, as a picture and a PDF

1Asked by voice, 12 seconds

Kal 11 baje class 10 ki PTM hai. Parents ke liye ek notice bana do, letterhead par, Hindi mein. PDF aur uska preview photo bhej do. Print mat karna.

2What Raion did

Took the school's own letterhead format, wrote the notice in formal Hindi with the date and time, and checked the page before sending.

3What came back

A picture and the PDF of the notice, about a minute later. Not printed, as asked.

Older messages and students' names are blurred.

3What to ask

One sentence is enough.

Raion already knows the institutes, their formats and their people, so it asks only for what is new.

Letters and notices

Kal 11 baje PTM hai, notice bana do letterhead par.
R

A one-page Hindi notice on the letterhead, as a PDF.

Reminders by call

Kal subah 10 baje phone karke yaad dilana.
R

Raion calls at 10 and says it. Missed calls come as a message.

Data from many people

Saari buses ki aaj ki km reading lao.
R

Asks each driver, nudges the late ones, sends one sheet.

Messages to parents

Class 10 ke parents ko fee reminder bhej do.
R

Shows exactly who gets what, and sends only after a yes.

Accounts

Aaj tak cash in hand kitna hai?
R

Read live from Tally, with the time. Read only.

Built, previewed, and live on the college website.

5Sarvam

Built on Sarvam AI.

Everything in Raion that hears or speaks runs on Sarvam, because our staff mix Hindi and English and would rather speak than type.

Sa

Saaras v4 hears

Every voice note and every call, Hindi and English mixed, live.

Sv

Sarvam 105B decides

On calls, what to say and what to do, in 0.3 to 1.2 seconds a turn.

Bu

Bulbul v4 speaks

A soft Hindi voice on calls and in voice notes, streamed as it is made.

bulbul:v4-flash

Code-mixed, as it comes"Fees ka dashboard bana do, course wise" is one sentence here, not two languages.

Voices from hereBulbul sounds like someone from the office, not a foreign assistant.

One provider, quick callsEars, brain and voice in one place keep a call fast, and each call's cost shows in rupees.

6How it works

One office PC runs it all.

WhatsApp brings messages and calls in, Sarvam handles every voice, and an agent does the work with the office's own files and tools.

Technical details

The agent

Claude Code runs headless, one session per person, with Raion's own tools served over MCP. Big jobs split across helper agents, each on the cheapest model that does its part well.

Documents

HTML to PDF with headless Edge on the institute's letterhead; every page is checked before sending. The office's Word and Excel files are filled in place.

Memory

Plain files: a fact file per institute, a shared timeline, each person's memory, private memory for admins. A keeper writes after every chat and marks clashes instead of overwriting.

Photo memory

A small model describes 12 photos at once from one contact sheet, with keywords in Hindi and English.

Runs by itself

A watchdog keeps it running. New code is pulled every 10 minutes when nothing is in progress, and kept only if a self-check passes. 1 to 2 AM: backup and tidy.

Safe by design

Only known numbers. Admin-only tools. Text in files and web pages is data, never instructions. Nothing hard to undo without a yes. Tally is read-only.

Size

About 6,500 lines of Python in 7 files, no framework and no database. aiohttp, aiortc, PyMuPDF, openpyxl, python-docx.

7Next

Where it goes from here.

The goal: an institute where every routine job is done by AI agents, so people can spend their time on students.

Then, other institutes

Any school or college in a tier 2 or tier 3 town should be able to run its office on one PC and WhatsApp, in its own language. Our four institutes first, then the ones around us.
